Mr. John Corey Cashman, 60, formerly of Westbrook, CT, was eased into eternal life on September 12, 2017, after suffering a massive heart attack. The family would like to recognize St. Francis Hospital cardiac ICU for their expert care. John was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Shirley Cashman, brother Ronald and Timothy Cashman. John leaves behind two children, Joshua and Molly Cashman, who he loved dearly and a very supportive ex-wife Brooke Bavin Sypher, all of South Carolina. John also leaves behind brothers Danny, Jeff (Patti), Thomas (Ginger), sister Colleen Hicks all of Clinton. Sister Linda Cashman of Madison and Diane Flanigan (Larry) of Cromwell. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. John is going to be missed dearly. He had a great passion for music, muscle cars and was a talented artist. He was known for his work ethic, great sense of humor and infectious laugh. He had a heart of gold, but most of all loved his children unconditionally. A celebration of life was held on 9/14 due to time constraints of family members. Cremation services were provided by Luddy Cremation Care of New Britain, CT.
