Santo was a great musician and man. I remember
Being taught to play the flute.
God Blessed us at Middletown High School with a wonderful person that Santo was.

Some of my most treasured and lasting memories of high school are of choir and Mr. Fragilio. After many years, I realized that he was teaching us to be better, more tolerant human beings through his choices of music: the words form Emma Lazarus's poem written on the Statue of Liberty, The Lord's Prayer, Handel's Hallelujah chorus from the Messiah, Let there be Peace on Earth, No Man is an Island, Christmas and Hanukkah songs. Music has been an ever present part of my life.I am forever grateful to him.

Mr. Fragilio-Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be in the Middletown High School Band. I enjoyed having you as my Music Teacher and Band Director. I appreciated your encouragement, kindness, patience and sense of humor when you taught me how to play the sousaphone. Plus, your dedication to the Middletown High School Band, its music program and all of the music students in Middletown was remarkable. I know you will continue to make music, play your violin, conduct a band and be reunited with your wife in heaven. Again, thank you.
