Al was a fine man and valued coworker. We spent time together every day supposedly to review some administrative process, but in reality to talk about life and family. He was a wise man who earned his knowledge through experience and careful observation. Occasionally he would share these insights with me and I was always the better for it. I share your sense of loss and am honored to have call him a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Al was an amazing coworker. When he retired in 2014, his energy was immediately missed from our work days. Although there was a 20+ year age difference between Al and some of us, it was certainly not apparent as he knew just as many words to an Eminem song as we did!
He went along with all of our crazy music, our ridiculous pranks on each other, and introduced us to the notorious fart machine which brought us years of laughter.
He was so excited for retirement and began counting down the number of winters left before he was finally done working.
Just 2 more winters to gojust one more winter to go He was so excited to have more time to spend with his family.

Al, thanks for the all of the talks, the stories, the jokes, and for always having candy in your drawer whenever one of the kids came to the office to visit. Thanks for sharing a Twix with me every day during my pregnancy so I didnt have to get fat alone. Thanks for sharing Angelas food creations and recipes with us! Thanks for helping to calm us down when we got fired up in the office. Thanks for sharing in our celebrations and being there during our difficult times.
