I met Mary when I was 19 working at DeKalb Ag and along with Marian, Dolly (both of whom have gone before us) Jo, and Dawn, we formed the infamous Ag Bags. She was definitely the comedian of the group! There was never a dull moment when we were all together. Here's to the Ag Bags - thanks for the memories! Her family was her greatest joy and she leaves an amazing legacy of a strong, kind, loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. I was blessed to have Mary in my life all these years. She was a true friend and I shall miss her. May the peace that comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

Mary was a great friend to my sister Linda Heinisch(Diedrich). I can see them now, laughing & giggling in heaven. A great lady with a rich life, who also raised an amazing family. She enriched many lives. My condolences.

Mary will be dearly missed! The highlight of our monthly book was Marys hilarious, sometimes serious, comments about the characters, storyline, and life in general. I think we each looked forward to the little bits of wisdom and humor we were awarded by Mary each time book club met. Thank you for your love and friendship, Mary. Peace be with you!

I worked with Mary at Holmes Student Center Food Service and we had many laughs. She had the greatest Halloween costumes, the best being Mimi from the 1990's Drew Carey show. My condolences to her family.

Your mom was always so kind to me, when I'd come over during elementary school. She and my mom were good friends in Catholic Daughters and at St. Mary Parish, for over 50 years. My mom, Joan Donnelly, just reminded me that she and your mom married the same day, April 15, 1950, at St. Mary Church. They shared flowers and decorations for their weddings (10:00 and 3:00). How blessed my mom and family were to have known her.
