Mrs. Abbie Cecelia "Lucille" Jackson, 82, departed this life early Monday morning, October 30, 2017, at her home. A native of Pass Christian, MS, and a resident of Mobile. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Elder Henry Jackson, Sr. Her legacy includes her children: Bertha Raynor; Ethel (Glenn) Morrissette; Rose (Jack) Shaw; Henry (Sherrell) Jackson, Jr.; Sandra (Jeffrey) Thrash; and Cecelia (Calvin, Sr.) Davison; 32 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 5 siblings; other relatives, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2017, at Liberty M.B. Church, 1759 MLK Jr. Ave. Visitation and viewing will begin at 9:00 A.M. and continue until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL. Arrangements are entrusted to the careful direction of Reese Funeral Home.
