July 30th, 2017
Cynthia Anne Lewis, age 65, passed away on July 30th, 2017 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle after a long battle with heart disease.
Cindie was born in San Jose then moved to Oakdale where she attended high school. Ultimately she settled in Modesto where she worked as a certified nursing assistant at Doctor's Medical Center for over 20 years.
Cindie loved cooking and baking for her family and friends, especially during the holidays but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren who meant the world to her.
Her son Timothy Lewis, mother Jo McHale, father Cliff Butler and brother Denny Butler precede her in death. She is survived by her daughter Sherrie Gary (Jody), grandchildren Lauren, Lucas and Elise, brothers Jerry Butler (Bonnie), Mike Butler and Tommy McHale, sister Linda Unroe (James), and many other relatives and friends.
She will be greatly missed and forever live in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
