CMSgt Renford I. Johnston, USAF (Ret)
Wetumpka - CMSgt Renford I Johnston, USAF (Ret), 83, of Wetumpka, Al passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at a local hospital. Mr. Johnston retired from the USAF after 26 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Ruby Lou Johnston, son Mark Johnston, brothers James, Robert, William and Virgil, sisters Margarette (Jarrell), Verna (Broussard), and Dean (Holmes). He is survived by his wife Rennie (Walker) Johnston, son Greg (Melissa) Johnston, daughter Ashley (Michael) McCormick, daughter in law Debbie Johnston, brother Freddie, sister Rebecca Shirley, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation for friends and family will be held Wednesday June 13, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Southern Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, AL. Immediately following there will be a graveside service in Greenwood Cemetery with Minister Doug Smith officiating. Condolences: southernmemorialfuneral.com.
