Our family met the Gotham family around the end of the 90's when we rented their cottage on Canandaigua Lake. Our friendship grew over the 20 years we kept coming back. Elaine and Patty were always there to welcome us back each year. Elaine was a sweet soul, artist and just a nice person. We rented back in July of this year and got to see Elaine as she spend some time at her loved "Red House". The memory of seeing and talking to her this last time will be with me every time I think of the lake. Elaine say hello to your Dad for us. You will be missed.

To the Gotham Family, I am sure you are all feeling heartbroken now and I am so sorry to hear of Baboe's passing, especially so close to the holidays. It brings back memories of your mother's death on Easter Sunday many years ago. At least there is the joy of knowing that she is now healthy again and happy to be with other members of the family who have gone before. You are all in my prayers and I will have a Mass said for her. God bless. Anne Erdle
