So sorry to learn of Mary Liz's passing. Her
mother and my great-grandmother were sisters
She is the last of the Buckelew line. Her
other cousin, Dorothy Jones-Erb join me in
sending our condolences. We always enjoyed
summer gatherings on Buckelew Road in Brisol and she will always be remembered
for her humor and quick wit.

I remember Mary Lou when she was Chief telephone operator in Holcomb. My mother, Mary Morse, was a telephone operator with her. Many times my sister, brother and I would go up to Marylou's apartment and stay while my mother was working Mary Lou always made us feel welcome. I often think about those times, Seneca Gorham telephone office upstairs over one of the stores. Switchboard operators had to pull out and push in cables to connect telephone calls one at a time. My mother handled a call from Gene Autry.
