November 24, 2019 My sincere condolences to Dr Markey's family and loved ones on his passing.
He was a truly gifted surgeon, a great teacher and colleague. It was an absolute pleasure to know and work with him. He would have sacrificed a lot of personal and family time to save the lives of others and always remained calm in an emergency. Dedicated, kind and a salt of the earth gentleman, he will be missed by all whose lives he touched . Rest in Peace Dr Greg Markey. A credit to his dedication and professional service he did for the many people/patients at the Whyalla Hospital. For many years that he had put in untold hours working any time of the day or night of the year.
