WENSINK, CHRISTOPHER D. Muskegon Christopher D. Wensink, age 17, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020. He was born February 27, 2003 in Muskegon to David R. and Kimberly M. (Fraser) Wensink and was a lifelong resident of Muskegon. Christopher was a student at Reeths-Puffer High School where he would have been a senior in the Class of 2021. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Christopher was an outdoors enthusiast who especially enjoyed riding his dirt bike, snowmobile and anything mechanical. He was always working on his engines. Christopher really enjoyed "scrapping metal" with his Grandpa Terry. He loved to hunt, fish, and hangout with his buddies. He will be greatly missed by his family and close friends. Christopher is survived by his parents, Dave and Kim Wensink; beloved grandparents, Terry and Merilee Fraser; Uncle Mark and Aunt Ann, Aunt Patty and Uncle Bob, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Scott, Aunt G and Uncle Mike, Aunt Barb, Uncle Mike and Aunt Marge, Uncle Tony and Starr, Bill and Kathy, Pam and Jerry, and Tim and Barb, Cousins: Jeff, Evan, Trent, Kara, Bob, Ariel, Nate and very special cousin, Emma; and his beloved dog Max. Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Orpha Wensink. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 28, 2020 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church (1110 Dykstra Road) with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass. Entombment will take place at St. Mary's Mausoleum.
