Born in 1946 in Etobicoke to George and Ethel Wagner. Married for 51 years to her beloved husband, Richard. Devoted mother to Michael (Sarah) and Joanne (MCpl Matthew Cousins, deceased). Loving grandmother to Ethan, John, Sam, Kate, Taylor and Aiden. Marion loved being a longtime resident of Huntsville, and volunteered her time with the UCW at Trinity United Church, with Branch 232 of the Royal Candian Legion, and with Huntsville Public School. Marion will be missed greatly and remembered fondly for her fierce love of family, her lighthearted sense of humour, her easy laughter and love of her friends. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Church in Huntsville.

Marion was a truly great junior public school friend. We only knew each other for about 3 years but at that age we were the BBF of today. She was one who could always be counted on. She was a very witty person when I knew her. Her family and my family were friends as well. I have often thought if her over the years and wondered where she. Wish I had kept in contact. My heart is very sad at her passing.

Marion was always so happy to see us with a big hug when we arrived at the "Pondo" She couldn't wait to share a glass of wine with us as we enjoyed our patio lunches. Trips to Florida were so much fun, times we will never forget and we are very grateful.

We say goodbye with heavy hearts to our dear friend Marion Boddy. Our hearts are made lighter with every remembrance and with every remembrance Marion's beautiful spirit is with us still. The ducks ( she named George and Ethel ) are wondering where you are and will surely miss you. With every shaking of tail feathers and every mallard couple Marion's kind spirit is nearby. A bottle of white opened and shared with friends on a deck or dock; in a cottage room with window views of bird song, trees and lake. You will be joining us with a raised glass to friendship and community. Spontaneous impromptu dinners will have you sitting at the table still. Your warmth and hospitality remains present. As community gathers, and we welcome the summer you will be with us all celebrating longer days shared with friends and family. Your May long weekend hospitality past will be felt and your spirit will bring celebration. With every " True story" and living room dancing to Shania's Up Up Up and The Chick's Goodbye Earl Marion will be part of the story , part of the dance. Pick out a bag of chips from the basket. Have a Werthers and savor it. How about a game of Catch Phrase? Guys against Gals. Gals are so clever especially when they are together. With every amusing sense of fun and jesting we will feel and be blessed by your light hearted humour and Grace. R.I.P. dear Marion . Thank you for your friendship. Heartfelt Condolences to dear Rick and Michael and Joanne and Grandchildren. Love Is Forever .
