My husband and I first met Larry and Barb while workkamping. It was their first time and the last time we worked together. Larry had retired from the Navy and they were traveling in Georgie with Roo who they picked up along the way. What a joy to know them. Besides being good workers, they were so much fun. We would meet Larry in the morning eating a banana as we began our day. Barbara usually worked in the office. We would gather in the evening around a fire and share stories and sometimes if we were really good, Barb would make "jello shots." It was the first time I ever tried one and it was really good. It was a great group of people who cared about each other and we told them that this doesn't always happen which they found out working other jobs. During off season we would all try and meet up in Florida to continue our stories and friendship. We were so blessed to know special people like Larry and Barb. We will miss her smile and sense of humor. She will continue to live in our hearts and memories until we meet again. To honor the memory of Barbara and continue the cause she loved, we will make a donation to Samaritan's Purse Shoebox Program. With our deepest sympathy,
Val and George (Ralph) Johnson
