Brandon Chase Lawson, 24, of Manchester Township passed away on January 6, 2021. Brandon was born on January 17, 1996 to Craig and Wendy Lawson. He attended and graduated Manchester Township High School. He was the second of four boys. As a child, Brandon was drawn to trucks and machines. His love for trucks led him to pursue and obtain a commercial driver's license and ultimately a career in trucking.
Brandon started cooking with his mother at the age of five. His favorite tasks were kneading dumplings and stirring the pot. He cultivated his culinary skills and shared his creations with family and friends. Brandon was affectionately known as "Big B" or "Bubba" because he was a gentle giant. Brandon enjoyed a good laugh and was never wrong (in his eyes). Brandon was a big fan of the LA Chargers and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Craig Sr. and Wendy Lawson; his brothers Craig Jr., Blaise and Myles Lawson; maternal grandmother Adassa Ricketts (Roy) and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Harmony Ministries, USA, Inc., 401 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Public viewing: 9-11:00 a.m. Services will follow immediately after. Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced. Interment will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
