Dear McGowan Family,

Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to meet Catherine although we are cousins. This past September I did however say a prayer over her Mum's (Molly R.I.P) gravesite by the sea, in Ballybunion.
My Auntie Ann Boland in Loughill talked to me about her close friendship with Catherine and growing up in Lisselton. I am in New York. I did not know she was in New Jersey until this past September when I was home. I regret not meeting her.

My kindest regards and sympathy to you, her loving family at this very difficult time,
Sean T. Boland

My heartfelt sympathies to the McGowan family. Catherine was a wonderful woman. A loving wife and mother, a kind and selfless person who provided comfort to so many through her cooking, her smile, her gentle manner and her wry Irish sense of humor. She was an angel that I will carry in my heart along with Kathleen. God bless you all. Donald MacGregor Ross

Our sincere sympathies on the passing of Cousin Kate. We had a great day in Loughill at Anne Stack's (nee Boland) house on her last visit to Ireland . We are so thankful for the happy memories. I still have a lovely pair of ear-rings Kate got me when I was in my early teens all those years ago. Christine.
