Bernice Hayward
Old Bridge - Bernice "Sis" Hayward, 86, of Old Bridge, NJ, formally of West Orange, NJ, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday January 13, 2018. Bernice was born on July 14, 1931 to the late Douglas and Marie Dangler in West Orange, NJ. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Doug, Joseph Edward, Harold, and Armond. Bernice is survived by her five children sons, David and his wife Martha, daughter Cindy, son Scott, daughter Suzie and her husband Tom, and son Glen, four grandchildren Tom Jr., Sara, David and Kyle. She was loving mom, grandmother and second mom to all. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, crafts, and most of all teaching ceramics and kibitzing with friends. She will greatly be missed by family and friends. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of The Old Bridge Funeral Home 2350 Route 516, Old Bridge, NJ. Interment occurred Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River, NJ.

Our deepest sympathy to the Hayward Family, Sis was a great person, funny and always made us laugh she will be dearly missed. My mother and Sis were great friends for many many year she is deeply sadden by her passing. My son John was just telling me funny stories of the adventures he had with those two crazy ladies when he was young. Sis may you Rest In Peace, Thank You for a life time of memories, especially Ceramics.
