May the Lord welcome Gene home. We fondly remember him from his time at St Veronica parish and in our neighborhood. He was the first neighbor we met when we purchased our home in the Candlewood section of Howell. Not yet knowing us (we had not yet moved in), he came down the street to keep the neighborhood safe by checking on the two folks casing the property. We still smile over the incident. He was a warm and delightful neighbor.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family, Gene. We remember you from St. Veronica's. You were one of the finest people we have ever known. Receive the crown prepared for you from the beginning as you find rest and comfort in the tender embrace of Jesus. Well done, good and faithful servant.
