I served on the East Millstone rescue squad in the 1980s with Naomi and other dedicated volunteers who I grew to know and respect. Naomi was very dedicated to the rescue squad and to the community it served. She was I think the Captain of the squad at that time. She, along with George Onderdonk, Tom and Mary Huie, and other local volunteers were the backbone of the squad at that time. Time and again, day or night, in good or bad weather, they went out from their homes to help their neighbors and others in need. To them much is owed, a debt that cannot be repaid except in our sincere gratitude for their service and dedication. Thank you Naomi!

I have knew Naomi since I was a boy. She was always involved in helping the community. Always there for families, friends and children. Despite all the pain and suffering she went through, she always had a smile on her sweet face. East Millstone Village will never be the same without her. She will be greatly missed by all.
