Geza "Gus" F Nemes
East Brunswick - Geza "Gus" F. Nemes died on Monday, December 18, 2017. He was 97.He was predeceased by his loving wife, Rose, in 2003, he was also predeceased by his parents and 9 siblings.
He was born in West Virginia, raised in New Brunswick and resided in East Brunswick for over 60 years.
He was a communicant of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church. East Brunswick.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, having served from 1942 to 1946 in the Pacific Theatre, New Guinea, Philippines as a medical Technician and Automatic Weapons Batallion.
Prior to retiring in 1986 he worked as a welder for 33 years at Harris Structural Steel and continued with his window cleaning business and was known as "Gus the Window Washer"
Surviving are his two sons, Richard and Robert and his wife, Debbie; a daughter, Renee Nemes, and his grandson Douglas Gibbons as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 12/22, at 8:45 AM at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, East Brunswick. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
