Charlotte "Charlee" Gordon Jeffcoat
December 24, 1941 - February 25, 2021
Murrells Inlet, South Carolina - Charlotte "Charlee" Gordon Jeffcoat, 79, died in Murrells Inlet, SC on February 25, 2021. She is survived by daughters Kathy Girod (Allen), Cheryl Qallab, and Jan Boyter (Jerry); grandchildren Heather Larsen, Brandon Schofield, Shannon Schofield, Charles Clark, and Tabatha Leard; three great-grandchildren; sister Pamela Proctor; and many nieces and nephews. Born in Virginia Beach, VA on December 24, 1941, Charlee was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Melton Lewis Jeffcoat, and parents Charles Whitfield and Catherine Virginia Humphries Gordon.
A former banker and bookkeeper, Charlee was the heart of her family and dearly loved by all who knew her. She was honored to be the wife of a 26-year Air Force veteran and was especially proud to be Oma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the Lord, devoured books, traveled the world, lifted up those in need, and shopped til she dropped.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1 pm, on March 1, 2021 at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, followed by a service at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.

I was so sorry to learn of Charlee's passing. She was a cousin by marriage and dear friend. I know her family will find peace in remembering many happy times with her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I was so sorry to learn of Charlee's passing - she was a dear cousin-by-marriage and a delightful friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Sympathy and love go to her family and I know they will find comfort and peace in remembering many happy times with Charlee.
