I knew "Morty" before he moved to 50 street where he met Sue. We lived across the hall at the "apartments"! Our parents were friends and "Aunt Mary and Uncle Mo" were very special to me. Morty was my best friend and we went to school together......can you believe we took the City Bus to school? I was 5 years old and my protector was six! We had the first TV in the apt. building so Morty and I watched Kula, Fran and Olly and Howdy Doody! Sue, I am very sorry for your loss. Morty was wonderful from the time he was born. I have many pictures of those happy apartment days in my mom's album. I am Fern Poll Hecker's first cousin and we used to see you and Morty when I visited Ferne. Be well, Joan Turnansky Martin (Phx.
