Our sincere condolences to Arlene's family. I remember her fondly from our years at Whitmer High School. Arlene graduated the year after my husband and I graduated in 1950.

I had the privilege of being taught by Mrs. Mayers, and the pleasure of her family's friendship for decades. She leaves a strong legacy having touched so many lives, and raising such a fine family! Her influence has made us better people. She will be missed.

Arlene's was a life well led. She lived by a set of well thought out principles that made her and those who loved her happy and content. She was common sense and competency personified.
It was a pleasure knowing and working with her! Her children were kind of neat too, a source of great pride and happiness.
