Warren Sulmasy Obituary

Warren J. Sulmasy Jr.

Naples, FL

Warren J. Sulmasy, Jr., of Naples, FL, passed away at home on Nov. 28, 2017 after a year's struggle with cancer. He was 55 years old. A loving and devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife, Dawn, daughters Kendall and Siena, parents Margaret and Warren, Sr., sister Catherine Thomas (Peter) and brothers Daniel (Lois) and Glenn (Marla). Born in the Bronx, and raised on Long Island Warren attended Smithtown H.S. East ('80) where he excelled in academics and sports. A 1984 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College he pursued a successful career in the financial industry as a stock trader, entrepreneur, and teacher. He and his family moved from Manhattan to Naples in 2009, were he continued to be engaged in independent electronic trading. His ready smile and sincere interest in others made him a friend to all he met. Deeply generous, both spiritually and materially, he will be missed by many.

There will be a wake from 2-4pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd, Naples, on Sunday Dec. 3. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 4 at 10 am at St. William RC Church, 601 Seagate Dr. Naples. Condolences may be sent to Dawn Sulmasy, 340 9th Street North Unit 207 Naples, FL 34102.

"For in the resurrection they...are like angels in heaven" (Mt. 22:30).

A memorial service will be held in New York in January for all northeast family and friends. Details to follow.
