Once in a while, the right words to frame a situation are difficult to come by. This is one of those times.
Let me just say that it was a privilege to know Wes Osborne.
Rest in Peace My Good Friend.

Wes was a Norwell icon, replete with knowledge of the town's history and biodiversity and always willing to share. Moreover, he was a wonderful gentleman and I am honored to have been one of his many friends. I will always treasure the memories of our nature walks and COA lunches.
Rest in peace my friend.

Mr. Osborne,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USCG during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Wes generously shared his substantial horticultural knowledge with me on several occasions. A nicer person would be hard to find. I feel privileged to have know him.
May you rest in peace my friend.
