Nana was a wonderful woman strong and loving. She was a true inspiration with her independent spirit and determination. She was a loving grandmother to us and would always have a new pair of slippers knitted before we grew out of the old ones, She would always make us laugh with her cheeky sense of humour. We will miss her but never forget her

Mum was such a loving, generous woman...she was a great musician who supported me in my studies, a wonderful gardener and a fantastic ook. Her knitting prowess is legendary and so many have mentioned her knitted slippers and jumpers. Miss her so very much..but love seeing her living on in her amazing grandsons and now in her six great -grandchildren, Ivy and Isla already love gardening and all of them are thrilled to sit at the piano with me to play. Thanks Di for the lovely tribute and the care you have shown in her last years.

Kathleen was one of the delights of my day. She was kind, sassy and smart. I loved our little choir, especially singing our favourite Maori song from our childhood, and those 60's tunes we'd belt out. A true lady. Very very much missed.
