My memories of Tim are that was funny, had very dry humour and loved his rugby, bbq’s and beer!

Even though we didn’t see Jackie and Tim often when I did video chat with Jackie, and Tim was in the background, he was always the same as ever, making witty remarks :-)

Sending our love to Jackie, Hannah, Joe and the wider family x

Sending love and condolences to dear Hannah and family. Rest assured that Hannah is being wrapped in a warm blanket of love from staff at Sumner School who all adore her.

Tim was a good mate. We joined the rugby club together and made some lifelong friends. He was a great sportsman and I ran my first marathon with him, Ronnie Lee and Barry Fletcher in Anglesey which we assumed was flat! Unsurprisingly he steamed ahead of us - who were far less prepared than he.
Sadly missed and sending condolences to his family.

It’s been 41 years since Tim took this 17 year old (at the time) under his wing in the Port Sunlight RFC centre. He was a strong guy in many ways and was a source of strength for everyone around him. Even now, so many years on, it is devastating to hear of Tims’ passing, taken far too soon from his family and friends. Commiserations and condolences to Jackie, Hannah and Joe and to all who mourn the loss of this smashing man

I knew Tim at Wirral Grammar and at Port Sunlight RUFC. He was a strong, tough centre who tackled hard and ran well. He’d played rugby league at Hull University and would always talk the thirteen a side code with me. Always respected by all who played with and against him. Clearly a great husband and Dad. One of the good guys!
