Michael Brandenburg
Newark - Michael H. Brandenburg, age 53, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was born on September 27, 1964 to Robert and Brenda (Morgan) Brandenburg in Columbus, OH.
Michael was a Sergeant for the Licking County Sheriff's Department for almost 30 years. He was also a member of the Irville Masonic Lodge #184 F&AM in Nashport, OH. In his free time, Michael enjoyed science fiction in all its forms, as well as comic books and collecting G.I. Joe's. More than anything, Michael loved his family.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Myra (Now) Brandenburg; daughters, Rachel Brandenburg and Rebekah (Colin) Lennon; sisters, Lisa (Doug) Sullivan and Cheryl Brandenburg; brother, Rob Brandenburg; and sister-in-law, Laurie (Carl) Eichar.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no services at this time.

I remember when he was hired at the Sheriff's Dept. and when you got married. He will be missed.
