Richard Wright
Newark - A funeral service for Richard E. Wright, of Newark, will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH 43055. . Services will be officiated by Pastor Tim Carr. Burial will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 12pm-2pm prior to services at the funeral home.
Richard, age 79, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. He was born on March 28, 1938 to the late Orville and Carrie (Francis) Wright in Newark, OH.
Richard leaves behind his son, Terry (Jan) Wright; 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Jaclynn, and Janae; sister, Marie Gartner; and special friend, Pauline Lantz.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Orville, and sisters, Eloise, Dorothy, and Helen.
Richard was a member of the Newark and Buckeye Lake Eagles and loved NASCAR. He worked at Schwebels Bakery for 10 years.
