I didn't hear about Georges death until an hour before the funeral. He will be truly missed, but it gives me great joy to know he is with God and his beloved Alice. May God be with the entire Gordon family!

To the Gordon Family:
I have so many wonderful and meaningful memories of your dad, and also your mom and all of you, from the church your dad pastored at Buckeye Lake, and just want to let you know that you are in my thoughts, and also have my deepest sympathy.

Brother Gordon goes way back in the "pages" of both my and my husband's memories! I came into the midst of the saints at God's Acres about a year or less after he was miraculously healed of cancer, and I remember how he would run and shout! But no wonder! God had healed him both spiritually and physically.

He was instrumental in helping my husband into the fold, and he used to take my husband with him as he ministered to many people. It's a memory my husband cherishes.

One of our fondest memories of Bro. Gordon is of when he would shout all over the pulpit area, until his pens and glasses would fly out of his pockets. When he got through praising his God, filled with glory and joy, he would go around and scoop up his things, put them back into his pockets and go to his seat. I'm sure he is shouting all over Heaven, , now, but he no longer has to worry about his pens and glasses!

He was a joy to know and to worship with, always happy and excited. For sure, his "well" never went dry or got stagnant!

He will be missed, but Heaven surely is enjoying him!

Our hearts and prayers are with his survivors; may his God sustain you and draw you near to Him!

My condolences to the Gordon's family.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your father.
May this Bible verse bring you strength
and comfort during your time of grief.
- Psalm 119: 50, 52, 76.
