Howard and I are so sorry for your loss. We have fond memories of Margeret. She made us feel very welcome when we first moved to Alexandria.

Am so sad upon hearing about Margaret. The Richards family lived three doors down from us when we were all growing up in Alexandria. Mary baby sat Bill, my brother, and we played with Margaret and Charles, he also being my classmate in school.

Mrs. Richards was always so involved with the youth at the Methodist Church. I recall many happy times standing around her piano and rehearsing for a church or Sunday school program.

Charlotte Blackburn was also a classmate of Charles and myself. She was raised in the country on a farm I believe next to the Mercers. She now lives in Macomb, IL. She has spoken often of the Mercer family. I will forward this news to her.

In later years, Margaret was very kind to my mother, Helen Dumbauld, as I am sure she was to all. She will certainly be missed in the church and Alexandria Community.

With deepest sympathy, Nancy Dumbauld Curry
