My sincere condolences go out to Sid's Family & Friends. I'm truley sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memory's of knowing and enjoying his friendship. He was a good man and we will all miss this jolly old friend.
Sid & I go back to 1965 during the surfing days in Newport. He was always fun and a good friend. We shared many many great adventures near and far. Sid joined me in California in 1969 while I was living there. We worked the night shift, so we could go surfing mornings at Hunnington Beach and went exploring the coast camping and surfing weekends form Santa Barbara to Encinitas. We were, Living the dream! And we remained friends in all through the years that followed. Although we lost frequent get togethers when I moved to Jamestown, we did crossed paths here and there in town and/or playing Golf. I often thought of him, but missed the opportunity to connect with him. For which I do regret, However, I will always have a place in my heart for you My Brother and May You Rest in Peace My Brother.

Sincerely,

My uncle Sid was one of a kind. He was caring and would help anybody in need. He loved listening to music and grilling outside. Summers in Newport will not be the same.
