Franklin E. "Buck" Dobbins, age 85, of Madison, OH, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at TriPoint Medical Center, Concord, Ohio.
He was born July 14, 1933, in Gilmer County, WV, the son of Fredrick and Fannie (Cunningham) Dobbins. He was baptized at Knotts Baptist Church in Orma, West Virginia. He married Delma "Pat" Jones on August 26, 1951, in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia.
Franklin loved the outdoors, spending time shooting, hunting, and fishing, and was a member of the NRA and Marxman Gun and Archery Club. He especially enjoyed spending time fishing and tending his garden. He was also a huge fan of Tiger Woods, following news, and watching his game on the Golf Channel.
He is survived by his daughters, Frankie (Frank) Rivera, Deborah (Song Crawford) Berry, Denise (Kevin Morris) Yankie; grandchildren, Patricia (Shelby) Ashburn, Tiffany (Dan) McCarty, Franco Rivera, Jessie (Laura Jones) Berry, Corey (Heather) Yankie, Kaitlyne (Adam) Tapia; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Pauline (Marvin Ray) Sherwood.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delma "Pat" Dobbins, in 2015; sons, Franklin E. Jr., Bruce E. Dobbins; sisters, Manoka and Betty; and brothers, Charles and Jack Dobbins.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057, with a Memorial Service immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lake County Dog Shelter, 2600 North Ridge Road, Painesville, OH 44077.

To Frankie and family.....my deepest condolences on the loss of your father and grand father, and probably so much more to those who loved him. May the peace and comfort of our Lord Jesus surround you with a calm assurance that He is with you during the days ahead. Lean not on your understanding but on His Grace, for his strength is sufficient to see you through.
