December 3, 2019 Marilyn and I first met at the age of 16. I was new to the area and to gain new friends, I invited some classmates to join me at the Rollerdrome.
Through the years we each experienced joys and challenges. When Marilyn was informed of her kidney problem, she was very faithful in following the rigid regimen required to overcome this adverse condition. She withstood eight years of dialysis prior to finding the right kidney match.
I vividly remember the 6:30 AM call when Marilyn telephoned to advise that a good kidney match was waiting and we had to get going. It was my honor to deliver Marilyn for the surgical procedure. The morning was dark and rainy, but to us it was a wonderful day.
The new kidney gave Marilyn additional years to enjoy family and friends, to travel, to enjoy new experiences and her new condo. All due to answered prayer and a generous donor.
I feel so blessed to have been a small part of Marilyn's life. November 30, 2019 Marilyn was well loved and will be greatly missed by all she knew as she touched the lives of many throughout the years. Until we meet again,
