Dear Roberta & Jim--I saw the notice in the newspaper about Jay and have just browsed the website and his photos. How beautiful. I think of you often and appreciate all that you have shared. Wishing you peace in your hearts.

Mr. & Mrs. Sappington, although we have written before, we have never met. You had visited the memorial site for my son Corey and his wife Michelle who were killed less than 3 months after they were married.
I saw your handsome son Jay's picture in the news journal today and just had to write to tell you that I have kept him and your family in my prayers. Grieving the loss of a child is something we will do for the rest of our lives.
I hope you are doing as well as you can be. Take care and know that Jay will alays be remembered!!
Hugs,
Donna-Corey's Mom

Dear Mr.and Mrs Sappington;

Teachers aren't supposed to have favorites, but Jay was special. I
enjoyed his passion in class and his competitiveness at the roller
hockey rink. He is missed by all that knew him, and this world lost
a person that would have had an impact on everyone. Thank you for
keeping his memory alive.

Dear Roberta and Jim,
We want to let you know that we think of Jay often- through pictures of the boys in our albums, the guitar that we "lost" and then "retrieved", and now through his music.
We will not forget him.
