Helen was an inspiration to those of us who taught with her. She always had that brilliant smile and those sparking eyes. I admired her so much for her enthusiasm, her caring and most of all for the depth of her love of the Lord. I'm sorry. I know you will miss her so much. May the Lord always bless you with wonderful memories of your special mother.

I had Mrs. Strong for 3rd grade, and she was an incredible teacher! She was the first person that I ever saw wear a Christian fish around her neck. She inspired me to do the same, so I asked my mom to buy me one. Mrs. Strong deeply impacted my young faith, and she will forever be an influence in my life!!

Helen and Rick were two of the kindest people I know. Helen loved Jesus, loved her family and often spoke with such happiness of her children and granddaughter She loved friends and strangers alike and was always about helping others . The earth is emptier without her but I know she is finally home and we will see her again, after all we are still in temporary circumstances, she is in her eternal home.

Mrs Strong was my 6th grade teacher at Marionville. I was so sad to hear she left this life for the next. Here is how I will always remember her: Kind, fun, inspiring, and a great teacher. Out of these things, her kindness stands out to me the most. She helped instill a love for learning in me that most likely led to my decision to also become a teacher. I will be thinking of her and her family often in the next days, months, and really forever. She will be missed.
