As seen on FaceBooke April 25th, 2016:

Dear friends, April 25th marks the day of my Dad's passing.

I feel like telling the world that it should STOP. Yet, I Know my dad wouldn't like that... He would want you to
hug your children a little harder,
laugh a little louder,
sing songs ,
be silly ,
and Skip with your loved ones of any age!
Yes, I said Skip, because he had the Amazing ability of helping us to see the lighter side the world and enjoying every moment! So, please, at least for today...

Be Silly!

And perhaps, if we're all just a little bit silly, and Extra loving, then the Legacy of Ivon Hubert Lowsley, jr. will live on through us! with June Lowsley, Erik Spitzer and Ivon Lowsley.

As the first anniversary of my father's death approaches I contemplate the many things my dad taught me. Compassion, caring, love, honesty, humor, patience, self sacrifice, patriotism, and to treasure friends and family. I am so very lucky to have had this wonderful man as a father. We are carrying on but miss your presence. I am however reassured to know that if you cant be with us, you are in God's arms.
