I listened to Jim while growing up in New York on 1130 am. Not only did I enjoy his show, but in the way he took pride in work. My condolences to the remainder of his family members and know that they will be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you Jim for being the bright spot of my day. Now rest in peace. It has been a great ride . God speed.

I still love Behind The Green Door, I also went to Dr. Lowe a few times. Nice doctor. Sorry to hear about Jim Lowe.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Jim's passing. As a native of metropolitan New York City, I grew up listening to Jim on radio, both WNBC and WNEW. It was while he was a personality at WNBC radio that I first heard Jim speak of his native Ozarks, Springfield, Mo. and KWTO. Years later I moved from Jersey to Springfield to work in radio and I had the great pleasure of meeting Jim at the home of his brother. He was incredibly gracious, very charming and so friendly. It was a wonderful visit that I will cherish always. Jim was a wonderfully talented singer and radio personality and I will miss him very much. My heartfelt condolence to his family, friends and colleagues in show biz.
