As she was our meighbor, I remember going to her house and begging her to be my teacher for the 3rd grade, and she was :) Besides being a great teacher, she was also known for her 'play' every year. We made puppets and did a play with them. I was lucky enough ( or unlucky enough lol ) to be "Wendy" in Peter Pan. I had that puppet for a long time, and there was probably never an uglier Wendy. LOL As you can see by the grief, comments, and memories... she was one in a million.. I would imagine her crown will be heavy!..you have made an impact Mrs. Kenyon. in the lives of many

Mrs. Kenyon was one of my favorite teachers (3rd grade) during my 12 years in the Branson schools. I think I responded to her because she didn't treat us as "little kids," but challenged us. I remember our section on astronomy and how this inspired me. She introduced us to the books of Laura Ingalls Wilder, which were wonderful! I fondly remember our work on the "Johnny Appleseed" puppet show that each year her students put together and performed at Branson Grade School. And on that day in November 1963 when President Kennedy was assassinated, she talked to us about it frankly, while still showing us her emotions, and we were allowed to watch the coverage on TV together as a class. I was fortunate to be able to correspond with Mrs. Kenyon during the past couple of years. May God Bless this lovely soul in her journeys through His Greater Kingdom...Cindy Stone, Columbia, MO

She came into our lives when we young and continued to share her life with us as we left Branson to start our adult lives. She continued to be the first person we would contact when we came home for visits. She was a true and devoted friend to our mother, Pearl Davidson for over 35 years.

I lived many years as a neighbor to Mrs Kenyon on Eiserman St. then I was truly blessed to also have her as a 3rd grade teacher. She was the true depiction of a great teacher. My Thoughts and prayers are with all her family and former students who will miss her dearly.
