Charlotta (Carlotta) McDaniel Carlock
Charlotta (Carlotta) McDaniel Carlock, age 67, a devoted mother and grandmother, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
Carlotta and her twin Constance (Connie) were born on October 14, 1949 here in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary E. McDaniel (1952) and Leroy C. Gray (1987), her husband Michael Lamar Carlock (2002), her sister Connie (2005), her brother Phillip W. McCall (1971), son Kent Lamar Carlock (1974) and granddaughter Aliani Bell (2001). Carlotta worked at Kraft for 24 years until she went out on disability in 1997. Survivors include her sons, Kennon McDaniel (Springfield, Mo), Jeffrey McDaniel (Springfield, Mo) her daughter Tonya Carlock (Kansas City, Mo). Six grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren; many extended family and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home 1947 E. Seminole St. A celebration of Carlotta's life will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home.
