Archie W. Jones
Archie W. Jones 85, passed away in his home on June 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. He graduated from Lake Forrest College and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Archie retired from Baxter International as a Senior Financial Analyst in 1991. He retired to Ozark, Mo. He was an active member of Second Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Virginia of the home, and two daughters, Diane Shields and Lauri Preder, and one grandson Christopher Box of Waukegan, Ill.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 23 Second Baptist Church of Springfield, Mo. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. before the service.
Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations for Missions can be made to Second Baptist Church or Grand Oak Mission 2854 W. Grand. May see more details and obituary at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
