Lois Evelyn (Cunningham) Doty
Lois Evelyn (Cunningham) Doty age 90, of Springfield passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2017. She was born May 16, 1926 in Embree, MO to John and Bessie (Tracy) Cunningham. She married Jack Doty on March 20, 1946 and to this union six children were born.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin (Jack) Doty; two sons, Ronald and Dennis Doty, her parents; and four sisters, Mary Goldsmith, Gay Bates, Rua Headley and Ruth Hurley.
She is survived by her four children, Don Doty and wife Velma, Janice Pridgen and husband Ron, David Doty and Rhonda Blakey and husband Jim; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Lois loved the Lord, her family and friends. Her sweet spirit will be missed. We love you mom!
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2:00pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel (5234 W. State Hwy EE) with a visitation held one hour prior at 1:00pm. A burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be to the Autism Society of Missouri (1501 E. Pythian Spfld, MO 65802)
