I used to speak to Coach Bair while walking my dogs. He was always pleasant and friendly. I had no idea who he was until reading his obituary. He was a wonderful neighbor, and I will deeply miss seeing him.

I was a typical college freshman who wanted NO part of having to take a PED 100 class - And Mr. Coach Wes Bair not only made it tolerable, he actually made it *enjoyable*. It is too bad that we could not have stayed in touch. My deepest condolences to his friends and family.

Mr. Bair was the best PED 100 Professor that I could have ever asked for as a college freshman who did NOT under ANY circumstances want to have to take a PED class at ALL... I am sorry that we could not have stayed in touch... I will ALWAYS remember you and I miss you deeply... Condolences to your friends and family...

Coach Bair was a great educator and friend. He really took an interest in his students and was always willing to help them succeed in their goals. He had a true wit and loved to tell stories in class. He had so much energy and challenged us personally when we were walking on the track. His years at MSU will be a legacy to all who admired him as coach, teacher and friend.
