"Pettigrew" was ever-present in our Morris Plains home. Always mischievious, with a twinkle in her eyes. Her grade school and high school stunts still make the family laugh. Gone too soon! Her Young Life experiences lasted her a lifetime, and brought her to her Lord. Meeting Amanda and knowing her, seeing Barbara at her wedding - what fun! (But she never learned how to make coffee in big urns!) Sledding across Mountain Way, trips to Morristown, and the fun she had with Leslie! To her entire family and friends, God Bless! We'll remember and miss her always.

Barbara & I were friends throughout grammar & high schools. I'm so glad we reconnected again last fall. She was a lovely, caring, intelligent lady who will be greatly missed! Rest now, Barb. You are loved! ❤

She was just exceptional. Her compassion for others was absolutely limitless. She loved her students, and recognized the potential in each one of us. It was a privilege to have her as a teacher.

I will never forget her.

I am so saddened to hear this news. I attended Canterbury 1995-2004 and Mrs. Bacon was without a doubt, one of my favorite teachers. She made learning fun and her smile was always beaming. I can only hope my own son has teachers that build him a lifetime of memories as she did for my brother and I. I send prayers to her family, you are in our thoughts.
