I first met Betty while I was working for Environmental Services at the old Community Hospital. One day as she was leaving to go home from work, she noticed me sitting in the waiting room as my husband was in surgery. I was alone, but Betty sat with me until my husband's surgery was over, and he was going to be fine. I have never forgotten this kindness that happened over 18 years ago. I have always thought of her as a true friend. I also remember how much she loved her grandchildren and talked about them. I'm so sorry for your loss.
