Jerry was a fair and honest person to deal with. His sense of humor was great and he'd look at you with a wink and a smile after saying something funny...subtle but an effective way to indicate the two of you were on the same book and page. We're all going to miss this gentleman, so glad we got to know him.

Jerry was a good friend as well as an automotive parts customer of mine for many years. I first met Jerry around 37 years ago when he opened his gas and service station on Ft. Myers Beach. As a young man (and one still pretty green at being a salesman) he allowed me the opportunity to do business with him, for which I have always been grateful. When he later opened "Jerry's Tire" he kindly invited me to continue being his salesman there. He always treaded me fairly and I learned much from him. His love for his classic automobiles paralleled my own interests and gave us a lot in common to enjoy. I participated in several "Spirit of the Fifties" car shows with him, which I enjoyed greatly. Recently I went by his home to show him my latest vehicle restoration and he gave me many compliments on my work. That really made me feel good since he had expertly restored and modified so many vehicles over the years. I felt that I had been complimented by a master ! Jerry had a heart of gold. I will, as also many others will, miss him and his friendship greatly !
