FAILEY-RAMIREZ - Brooke E. It is with great sorrow that we must announce the passing of Brooke E. Failey-Ramirez, on October 12, 2021. Brooke was born April 13, 1980, and led a life enriched by a love for languages. After spending a year in France after high school, she pursued a career immersed in the languages she found so intriguing. She graduated the Stony Brook University as a certified teacher and went on to get her Master's in French and Administration Certification. A teaching career ensued and she found herself teaching Italian and French at the middle school and high school level. Along the way, she was blessed with a son, Pierson, born May 4, 2011, who became the center of her world. On October 13, 2018, she married the love of her life Roberto Ramirez, and along with Pierson, a close knit family was formed. Brooke tried to instill her passion for the arts in her students as well as her student teachers who she always welcomed into her classroom. She is survived by husband, Roberto; son, Pierson; stepson, Nicolas; mother, Marie; brother, Colin and his wife, Ayesha along with their kids, Saira, Nylah and Aydin; and brother, Vlad and his wife, Lindsey and their son, Mason. A viewing will be held Friday, October 15, 2021, from 3-7pm, at Brueggemann Funeral Home on 522 Larkfield Road in East Northport, NY. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Vernon Valley Road in East Northport on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 11am.
