Mr. Krug (apologies I just can't make myself say George) was a kind man. He always greeted me with a friendly smile. I also remember seeing him enjoy the taste of food, his mouth chewing and savoring every bite. So sorry to the entire Krug clan for your loss.

Our condolences to the Krug family. May you find peace in God's hand.

Whenever Big G greeted me he would have a huge smile, he'd say 'Hi Lees!' as he put his arm around me and rest the side of his face on the side of mine and hug me just a bit tighter. I can still smell his cologne and remember how sometimes there would be stubble when his face met mine and I loved how it felt. Every time he visited us or we visited him this wonderful ritual took place.

He gave me my first car- an old burgundy Plymouth Valiant -I fell in love with that car it is still my most favorite car ever.

I love that he, like Bobi will always be a big part of CJ's birth story. He wasn't allowed in the delivery area where we were so he had pulled a chair up as close as he was allowed on the other side of the double doors at the end of that hall- listening and waiting.

Big G, CJ(8), Josie(5) and I took a trip into the city to go to the children's museum on a visit. When we were ready to have a snack we sat down on a traffic island between busy lanes of city traffic. Big G pulled out a couple of delicious tomatoes from his garden and the four of us sat there enjoying those tomatoes, all the noises, people, and things to see as of it were perfectly normal!

I loved to watch Big G pull on his big black boots and pull them off. I dont know why really, I just thought they were so cool, just like him.

I am ever grateful for the memories I have with you in them Big G, I love you.

May flights of angels lead you on your way.
