Joe (Bagels) LaBella was the closest thing to a brother I had growing
up with. He and NIcky are like family to me. I have known them my
whole life growing up on Montrose Ave and after when we reunited
on Long Island and then moving to Florida and spending 7 years as
neighbors in Spring Hill. Joanie and I will remember all the good and funny times we had at our Club Reunions over the past 12 years. We
always stayed with Rose and Joe and they visited us in North Carolina.
He will be deeply missed and remembered always. I could write a book
about Joey, but I don't have the space in this remembrance.
Love to Rose and her family and to Brother Nick. Love Butchie and Joanie
