Timothy J. Muth
Tim Muth, 429 Massalina Drive, passed away on December 16, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in a house fire.
Tim was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 7th, 1951 to Walter and Zelma Muth. His family moved to Panama City in 1956, and brought with them the plumbing business that is now Muth & Sons Plumbing/Solar business, 5th Generation Plumbers.
Tim attended Cove School, Jenks, and Bay High School as well as Gulf Coast Community College. He was one of the first State Certified Master Plumbers in Bay County and spent 54 years in the plumbing service industry. Tim loved all water sports and was an expert at spearfishing, especially mullet!
Tim was active in music starting in his teens and throughout his life.
He was an excellent singer, songwriter and performer, and played bass, mandolin and violin. Tim taught and influenced many young and aspiring musicians on these instruments. He recorded a handful of original songs, some of which have been played all over the world.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Walter Muth; his mother, Zelma Muth; and his brother, Mike Muth. He is survived by his brother, Pat Muth and sister-in-law, Cynthia. His nieces and nephews, Ruth, Christina, Patrick M. and Brian; as well as numerous grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, please provide your loved ones with smoke alarms and fire safety instructions.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held Saturday, March 6, from 6-9 pm at Little Village in St. Andrews, Florida.

I had the joy of watching him and his band practice in our garage each day after they got out of school. He drank lots of Dr. Pepper back then. I remember walking in the Cove one day and him stopping to pick me up to give me a ride to the store. He was such a great person. RIP Loved you always.
