Vera Gardner, 96, of Panama City, passed away June 20, 2020. Vera was born in Tottenham, London, England on June 29, 1923. She worked in a munitions factory during World War II. She survived the Blitz and The Battle of Britain. She married a GI in London and came to America on the Queen Mary through Ellis Island. She lived in Newburgh, Indiana for 25 years before moving to Panama City, Florida, where she lived for the remainder of her life.Wilson Funeral Home
She is survived by a son, Bruce Gardner of Panama City Beach; a daughter, Carol Ausbrooks of Newburgh, Indiana; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
No services will be held. She will be missed!
